ABOUT
D’mitri Droban is a touring drummer and composer based between Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ, specializing in live touring, theatrical productions, and recording projects. Known for his musical versatility, reliability, and strong live presence, he performs across rock, pop, and contemporary commercial genres.
He recently served as drummer for the pre-Broadway production of Let the Good Times Roll: A New Orleans Gumbo, working under Music Director Sonny Paladino alongside established Broadway musicians and the production’s creative team including Jack Viertel. He has also performed as drummer for Million Dollar Quartet Christmas and appeared in the official music video for Miss Krystle’s “Say To Me.”
D’mitri began playing drums at age eight and was performing professionally by twelve. At thirteen, he toured across the United States with the band Happy Accidents, gaining early experience in touring, recording, and live performance.
As a composer, he has created original music for commercial and media projects, including scoring work for Zhivago Entertainment on a true-crime limited series podcast. His composing blends cinematic storytelling with modern production, with strengths in arranging, sound design, and audio production.
He studied at the Los Angeles College of Music under Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa) and David Beyer (Melissa Etheridge, Christopher Cross), graduating as Valedictorian. His training includes advanced performance, recording, and professional sight-reading across rock, pop, Latin, jazz, and contemporary commercial styles.
He is currently available for touring, live productions, recording sessions, and composing work worldwide.
