D’mitri Droban is a drummer, percussionist, and composer based between Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ, with professional experience in touring, musical theatre, live performance, recording, music videos, and composition for media. Known for his versatility, preparation, and strong live presence, he works across rock, pop, theatre, jazz, Latin, and contemporary commercial styles.

His credits include the world premiere of Let the Good Times Roll: A New Orleans Gumbo, which is scheduled for a Broadway premiere next year, as well as The Cher Show and Million Dollar Quartet Christmas. His touring and live-performance experience includes work with Happy Accidents and SweetSummer, along with support and headlining performances across the United States in a variety of professional live settings.

D’mitri began playing drums at age eight and was performing professionally by twelve. At thirteen, he toured across the United States with Happy Accidents on the Civil Unrest Tour, opening for bands including Ill Niño, Motograter, Davey Suicide, Straight Line Stitch, and others. The experience gave him an early introduction to the realities of life on the road — from long drives and late nights to sleeping in Walmart parking lots or on venue floors and showering at truck stops between shows. It taught him the adaptability, discipline, and resilience required for touring.

A graduate and valedictorian of the Los Angeles College of Music, D’mitri studied with Ralph Humphrey, Dave Beyer, Herman Matthews, Al Pahanish Jr., and others. His training included advanced performance, recording, sight-reading, ensemble work, and stylistic study across rock, pop, jazz, Latin, theatre, and contemporary commercial music.

In addition to live performance, D’mitri has appeared in several music videos for Miss Krystle and other artists, with featured releases collectively surpassing half a million views on YouTube. As a composer, he has created original music for commercial and media projects, including scoring work for Zhivago Entertainment’s true-crime limited-series podcast, Crime Stands Still.

D’mitri is available for touring, live productions, recording sessions, and composition work worldwide.
